Who is Alchemy for?
Alchemy is designed for people who lead other people but who didn't come up through formal management training. That includes first-time managers, technical specialists promoted for their craft, founders who suddenly have a team, and experienced leaders moving into unfamiliar contexts. The Service is a reflective tool, not a directive one: it is built to help you see your situation more clearly, not to tell you what to do.
How is my data protected?
Your account, conversations, and uploaded documents are encrypted at rest. Connections use HTTPS/TLS. We do not sell, rent, or share your data, and we do not use your content to train external models. Administrators cannot view your data unless you generate a time-limited support token from inside the app and share it deliberately. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Where is my data stored?
All data at rest is stored on infrastructure hosted in Canada. If you sign in from outside Canada, your data may cross international borders during transit only. We do not replicate your data to other regions.
Can I delete my account and all my data?
Yes. Account deletion is a self-service feature you control directly. You have two options:
- From inside the app: open your profile (the Mirror tab on web, or the equivalent on Android and iOS), scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom, and use the Wipe My Data button. You'll be asked to type your username to confirm. Once confirmed, your profile, conversations, uploaded files, psychometric results, and chat memory are permanently and irreversibly removed. Anonymised aggregate counts may remain in our systems for service-quality analytics; nothing personally identifying is retained.
- By email: if you can't access the app, write to research@alchemyleadership.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject line Delete my account. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within five business days.
Account deletion cannot be undone. If you'd prefer to pause your subscription without losing your history, cancel your subscription instead (see below): your data remains intact and you can resume at any time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your account dashboard inside the app and choose Cancel subscription. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. To ensure cancellation processes before the next renewal, cancel at least five days before your renewal date. A reminder email is sent before each renewal. Refund policy: see Refunds.
What can I attach to a conversation?
File attachments. Send PDFs, slide decks, photos, or notes into a conversation for Alchemy to read into context. Use the paperclip button next to the message input. On iOS, Android, and web you'll see your device's file picker, which can reach your Photos library, downloads, and any cloud storage you have connected (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox).
Supported types include PDFs, plain text, Markdown, common Office formats (.docx), and images (JPG, PNG, HEIC). Image content is read using vision technology, so a photo of a handwritten note or a screenshot of a chart works well. There is no in-app camera capture in v1.0; if you want to attach a photo, take it with your device's camera app first, then attach it via the paperclip.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password and enter the email on your account. We'll send a one-time reset link valid for 30 minutes. If you have biometric login (fingerprint or face recognition) configured on a device you're still signed in to, you can also use that to access your account and update your password from Settings.
Voice features aren't working.
Voice mode requires microphone permission and a stable network connection. Quick checks:
- Microphone permission: on iOS, Settings → Alchemy → Microphone. On Android, Settings → Apps → Alchemy → Permissions. On the web, click the address-bar lock icon and allow microphone access.
- Network: voice mode uses a real-time connection that needs stable bandwidth. If you're on weak Wi-Fi or cellular, switch networks and try again.
- Fallback: the text chat works even when voice doesn't. If voice fails repeatedly, send the conversation by text instead and email us so we can investigate.
What languages does Alchemy support?
Alchemy supports twelve interface and conversation languages: English (Canadian, UK, and US variants), French (Canadian and France variants), German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian. Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian are presented right-to-left. Set your preferred language in Settings; the app, replies, and voice all follow your preference.
I found a bug, or I have feedback.
Inside the app, open Settings and choose Send feedback: this attaches anonymised diagnostic context that helps us reproduce the issue. You can also email us directly at research@alchemyleadership.ai. Include your operating system and the version number shown at the bottom of the Settings page.

Email research@alchemyleadership.ai. We aim to reply within two business days. For privacy-related requests (data access, correction, deletion under privacy law), use the same address with Privacy request in the subject line; we'll prioritise these.
